Great Supplement for Lectures

Compared to other Psychology books I have read, this was an easy-read. I used it as a supplement to PowerPoints and lectures and found that this actually helped me understand the material a lot better. It is very straight forward without being too wordy and technical like other books. They use examples, which is a plus when you need to know how a theory is applied. I would definitely recommend it to anyone taking Motivation and Emotion.

A textbook on motivation and emotion that motivates and makes you feel good!

Easy to read. Straight forward. Perfect for an overview of the topic - does enough deep dives on the material that you get a sense of mastery, but not so much that it is overwhelming. Excellent book to introduce students to human motivation and emotion.
